Fit as a Fiddle! That's me!

Today's One Point Wiki Wiki e-Xpression is a cliché, “fit as a fiddle”.

It means in very good health. When this phrase was coined 'fit' was used to mean 'suitable, seemly', in the way we now might say 'fit for purpose'.

“ I had my quarterly hospital visit today and both my doctors told me I am fit as a fiddle!”

Often these posts come from words or expressions students in my class need to express an idea or thought in the simplest way.
