Learning a New Language #3 - It is (almost) impossible to study English grammar in English.

It is (almost) impossible to study English grammar in English.

If you MUST study grammar - and some times people feel they MUST - use a book that teaches English (or any other language) grammar in your own first language.

Unless you are an English teacher or taking tests in English you will NEVER - NEVER - NEVER be asked a question about grammar.

The EASY way to "study" grammar is to read.

You will never find grammar mistakes in books.

Editors make sure of that - unless the "mistake" is intended.

(Imagine trying to study Japanese grammar in Japanese. Imagine trying to study Chinese grammar in Chinese.  Imagine trying to study … you get the point. UNLESS that is your first language.)
